These days, I received some forward-email, which introduced many Taiwan local beautiful resorts. I am happy to see these wonderful views and the international style of these resorts. However, I also see no Taiwanese feature of these resorts, or I should say characterless of Taiwan... I feel so bad that I can’t see any Taiwanese features. I keep asking myself what’s Taiwanese feature. I get no answer…
From these emails, one can see many foreign styles; such as European, American, Balinese, or desert, rainforest...etc. Many “inventors” of these resorts have been travel long distances to variety places. They give up their old job (high incomes) to have these resorts…somehow; I am tired of these movable and touching stories... Maybe I am one of these kinds people…but,…after I back home,…I just want to see my place where full of Taiwanese features…which’s I can’t tell…
